Ghana’s second deputy coach Maxwell Konadu extended his working visit in the La Liga to Atletico Madrid star Thomas Partey as he monitors the performance of Ghanaian in the La Liga.
The visit which followed a similar exercise to UD Levante forward Emmanuel Boateng is expected to foster a cordial relation between Ghana and the clubs.
Partey who is a key member of the ‘new’ Black Stars under Coach Kwasi Appiah has been phenomenal for his club, both in the La Liga and in the Europa League.
Konadu’s visit is believed to have been very fruitful as he held talks with the head coach of the side to discuss certain details about the player.
Partey himself was excited as he welcomed the former Ghana striker and now assistant coach of the Black Stars.
Maxwell Konadu is expected to visit Mubarak Wakaso and other players in the La Liga and the Segunda A before returning to Ghana in Thursday.
This is the first time all three Black Stars coaches have been handed the opportunity to move to different parts of Europe to monitor Ghanaian players.
Head coach Kwasi Appiah recently visited Ghanaian players in the English Premier League while first deputy coach Ibrahim Tanko is also in Germany to monitor some Ghanaian players in the Bundesliga and the Bundesliga II.
