Ghana Football Association and Premier League Board cameraman, Emmanuel Offei, has denied receiving death threats after releasing the correct footage which vindicated referee Samuel Sukah for awarding a dubious penalty for Hearts against Kotoko.
According to the experienced cameraman he has personally not received any message or call which puts his life or his family in danger.
“Since morning nobody has called my line to threaten me for providing this vivid evidence but when some people call on certain radio stations they make all `sorts of statements against me. However I am just an employee for the GFA so I have not done anything wrong for providing the footage”, he told Starr Sports.
That video evidence vindicated the center man after he was pilloried for the penalty awarded Hearts of Oak in their 1-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium two weeks ago.
The Match Review Panel of the Ghana football Association after taking in evidence of the footage of the football Association’s official cameraman on Friday declared Sukah’s call as spot on.
