President of Techiman City, Charles Kojo Ntim believes the Ghana Football Association is not a charity organization.
According to Techiman City who have been relegated from the topflight files a protest on on September 22, against Berekum Chelsea Football Club for failing or refusing to pay various fines, costs and debts within the stipulated time before playing in the Day 30 of the Ghana Premier League match between Berekum Chelsea FC and Techiman City FC in contravention of Articles 39(8) (b), and 39(8) (d) of the General Regulations of the GFA.
“Berekum Chelsea at a point in time insulted me and questioned my knowledge in football but I think it is laughable.” Mickey told Asempa Sports.
“I made a protest against Berekum Chelsea because I didn’t want to attack them. We had a similar situation playing in the division one and we are not going to tolerate any injustice this time around because we only get money from the sale of players and the money FIFA gives us and as it stands Berekum Chelsea owes the FA.
“This issue has come up several times during FA’s meeting and it seems they are not ready to pay the money. I want to tell them the FA is not a charity organization so I am urging them to pay the money.
“I know I am not the one to demand the money but it is in the regulations of the FA.” He added.
