German international Jerome Boateng has indicated that he will be visiting Ghana for the first time in the summer.
According to the 2014 World Cup winner, he will be visiting Ghana with his daughters and family members.
“I have been to Africa but I didn’t go to Ghana,” the Bayern Munich defender told DW.
“I will go there this summer with my daughters and family members.”
Although yet to visit Ghana, Jerome, younger brother of Black Stars and Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Kevin-Prince Prince, holds the country dearly in his heart.
“I was with my two older brothers and they said ‘today we are all going to do the same tattoo but don’t tell your mother’.
“So we all went and had our bodies tattooed.
“It was the continent of Africa with Ghana inside.”

He has capped 68 times for Germany, scoring one goal in the process.
