The Rossoblu boss has made a sudden change of mind on the Ghanaian after his excellent performance against Pro Vercelli in a warm-up game
Genoa manager Gianpiero Gasperini has had a change of mind and declared that he is no longer selling Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Cofie.
The Rossoblu had planned on cashing in on the player but after an impressive performance Wednesday against Pro Vercelli in a friendly game, they want to keep him.
“Yesterday, Cofie did very well, both as a defender and a midfielder,” Gasperini told The Century XIX.
“He is a player of value, we have to think about it for a moment before getting rid of him. He is a good player, a very good one and it is better that we keep him.”
Chievo Verona, Sassuolo, Parma, Atalanta, Frieburg and Wolfsburg have all made enquiries about the Ghanaian.
