French Club FC Bastia have signed Ghana U17 winger Edmund Arko-Mensah.
Bastia confirmed the signing of the 16-year-old in a €50,000 transfer fee from Ghana Premier League side WA All Stars.
Arko-Mensah secured himself the deal after catching the attention of the Club’s scouts at the Africa U17 Championship in Gabon last month.
The player is due to arrive in France to join his new teammates.
Bastia over the years have shown interest in several African talents.
Former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien was also spotted by the Club back in 1999 after playing for the Ghana U17 team at the FIFA World Cup in New Zealand.
