Former vice president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has called for attitudinal change if the Black Stars are to qualify for the 2018 World Cup.
A disappointing start to the qualification campaign saw Ghana draw with the Cranes of Uganda last week. A result that has irked Ghanaians who have started calling for change in how the team is managed.
Fred Pappoe in an interview with Kumasi based Otec FM remarked that “if we keep doing what we are doing and do not change we will not qualify. People who have been placed in a position to help must be up and doing. Everyone concerned with the team must wake up from his slumber and work. They must bury their pride, work in unity and harmony for the team. If we don’t do that, we will not qualify.”
The Black Stars are currently on winless run of four games with their next game against the in form Pharaohs of Egypt
