Frank Nuttal Elliot, the head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak has blamed referee Alhassan Nuhu Liman for his side’s defeat to Brekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park last Sunday.
In a post-match interview, the Scottish tactician said but for the referee’s poor performance, his side could have won against Berekum Chelsea on Sunday
“One of the main factors of our defeat was officiating and I know if the Ghana Football authorities watch the videos of this game they would be very disappointed.
“I would like the authorities to look at the video. It is very clear that the referee’s poor performance affected the result of day
“I think we could have won the game today, but I think there were some decisions the referee took that affected us a lot in this game.
“We know it is a work in progress for Hearts of Oak and we are going to get better with time, we could have had a better result in this game, but it’s unfortunate for us. We want to improve and we would keep working towards that.
