The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has given itself a Friday deadline to complete the selection process and announce the new Black Stars coach.
Several foreign coaches have applied for the job following the sacking of Kwesi Appiah who supervised the team’s poor performance at the World Cup in Brazil.
Former Serbian Coach of the senior national team, Milovan Rejevac, who is on the list of applicants has been tipped to secure the job.
Spokesperson for the FA, Ibrahim Sani Dara, however said all applicants will be given a fair consideration.
According to Sani Dara, the FA’s overaching objective is “to get the best coach for the team”.
“We want a coach who can hit the ground running”, he said.
