Former Chelsea and Black Stars coach, Avram Grant has emerged the bookmakers third favourite to land the Leicester City job following the sack of Claudio Ranieri.
The former Chelsea and West Ham manager is currently out of work having quit as Ghana manager after the Africa Cup of Nations last month.
Ranieri failed to re-capture the miraculous form which saw EPL side Leicester win the league last season and was handed his marching orders by the owners on Thursday.
Ranieri guided Leicester to the title despite them being rated 5,000-1 shots at the start of the 2015-16 campaign.
The Foxes are 17th this season and lost to League One Millwall in the FA Cup. Leicester have already began the search for a new manager, with former Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini in line.
Meanwhile, betting companies such has Paddy Power have began accepting bets for the next Leicester coach with former Manchester City manager Mancini the top favourite at 5/1 and former Leicester boss Nigel Pearson second favourite at 6/1.
In third place at 8/1 is Grant who failed to win the AFCON with Ghana earlier this month. The Israeli has always favoured a move back to England where he enjoys his punditry work with Sky Sports.
However, it must be noted that Grant was linked with every vacant job during his two-year stint with the Black Stars of Ghana but never landed any job.
Grant is said to be eager for a return to club football and his vast experience in managing in the Premiership could be an added advantage
