Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Boateng climbed off the bench to power UD Levante to victory as they beat Eibar 2-1 in the Spanish LaLiga on Friday.
Spanish midfielder Marti Roger put Levante ahead in the 25th minute to send the fans at the Estadi Ciutat de València into frenzy mood.
But Brazilian forward Charles silenced the home crowd with a 63rd minute equalizer after he connected to Joan Jordan’s knock down pass.
The former Morierense FC marksman wasted no time in announcing his presence after capitalizing on some poor defending by the visitors to score just four minutes after his introduction, which proved to be the winner for Paco Lopez’s side.
Despite the win, Levante maintain their 17th position with 27 points after 29 games.
