Ghana forward Kevin-Prince Boateng has sung praises of Marius Wolf and earmarked the Eintracht Frankfurt winger to break into the German national team.
The Coburg-born wideman joined the Eagles from Hannover 96 at the start of the 2016 German Bundesliga season.
The 22-year-old had a somewhat slow start to life at the club but has hit his stride in their ongoing campaign, having provided 5 assists and scored 4 goals 18 appearances to help Niko Kovac’s side to 4th place in the Bundesliga standings.
And Boateng, who has been astonished by the performance of the winger since joining the Commerzbank-Arena outfit prior to the season, has prophesied that his team-mate will break into the Die Mannschaft set-up very soon.
“I’m right, I know something about football, I always told him he had to go full throttle, there’s no stopping for him, if he does not go national, then I’ll stop football I do not have to decide that, fortunately yes, if the Bundesliga sees: Is there a better age at his age?
“Marius is calm, calm, this is his first year how calm he deals with it, I did not manage at his age, he works every day on his body, that’s what makes him a national player, he has a head that others have at the age of 30. In the beginning, maybe I was important for him, not anymore, he does not need anyone anymore, he knows exactly what he has to do.”
