Ghanaian striker Nana Poku is set to seal a massive cash deal to UAE side Al-Shaab next month from Egyptian top-flight Misr El-Maqassa, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.
The 23-year-old, who is in an explosive form and is the top-scorer in the Egyptian top-flight league, will join the UAE second tier side when the transfer window opens next month.
His Misr El-Maqassa have agreed to the bumper offer tabled by the UAE side even though the amount involved has not been revealed.
Agents close to the deal and sources close to the player have confirmed the deal to Ghanasoccernet.com and will see the player quadruple his wages from what he currently earns in Egypt.
The move to the UAE will end close to three years the former Berekum Chelsea player is spending in Egypt where he has been very influential.
He is the second highest scorer in Egypt over the past three years behind Hossam Paulo, having scored 34 goals in 81 appearances for Maqassa and his previous club Ittihad El-Shorta.
