Ebusua Dwarfs failed to break a stubborn Tema Youth side as their week 10 clash ended in a 1-1 stalemate at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
The Harbour City boys opened the scoring in the 25th minute through attacking midfielder Joseph Paintsil.
The home side increased the intensity of the game as they squandered half chances but it was not long before the away side keep the red hot Nicholas Gyan at bay as he prod home his 7th goal of the campaign to put his side on level just before referee Desmond Abbey blew his whistle for half time.
In the 67th minute, Gyan found his way through two defenders and almost doubled his tally but, his effort was thwarted by the goalkeeper to corner.
Dwarfs probed for the winner but Tema Youth held to record their first away game in their last three travels.
Dwarfs maintain their 10th spot on standings with 12 points from 10 games.
