Ghanaian youngster Ebenezer Assifuah was an unused substitute in Le Havre’s 1-0 win over Auxerre on Friday night in the French Ligue 2.
Le Havre scored the only goal of the match in the second half through Ghislain Gambert in the 71st minute and didn’t require Assifuah’s services as they held on for all three points.
Assifuah sealed a permanent move to French second tier side Le Havre in mid-January.
The 23-year-old moved from Swiss top-flight side FC Sion after struggling to hold a regular starting place at the club.
He signed a three-and-half-year deal with Le Havre leaving him at the club until June 2020.
