Deputy coach of Dreams FC Winfred Dormon has envisaged an exciting clash against WAFA week 10 of the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.
Dreams FC will be hoping to keep up their near perfect run in the league when they travel to the Sogakope Red Bulls Arena to engage WAFA.
The Still Believers have been on a rampant winning form lately after inflicting defeats on Asante Kotoko, Liberty Professionals and Aduana Stars.
The two sides have been hailed by aficionados of the league for their possessive brand of football – an opinion which Dreams FC assistant trainer Winfred Dorman accepts, and says he is looking forward to an explosive encounter.
“WAFA plays possessive football, same as Dreams FC and so it all turns out to be an exciting game for fans to watch.”
A same style of play could mean both sides will be likely to cancel each other out but Coach Dormon notes that certain elements of Dreams FC could give us the edge.
“We have experienced players like Eric Gawu and Isaac Amoako and we have a much stronger attitude. If you see how we’ve won games, we’ve won them with our big mentality and also our competitive attitude on the pitch so I believe these are what will make the difference.”
Dreams FC will head into this matchweek 10 fixture on the back of a 3-game winning and there could be pressure on the team to try and maintain it but Coach Dormon mentions that the approach will be the same as re is no pressure on the team.
“Looking at where Dreams is coming from, we want to be competitive and so we will approach this game as any other game and will look to take our chances.”
