Tamale City FC have officially announced the signing of Sellas Tetteh on an initial one (1) year deal with an option for an extention for a further year.
The coach was flown to Tamale in the company of a Director of the club,Lepowura Jawula and immediately signed the deal with the CO of TCFC,Mr Jones Alhassan-Abu.
Soon after signing the contract,an elated Sellas Tetteh expressed his appreciation to the Directors of the club for giving him the unique opportunity to become the first Head Coach of the club and thus be part of an exciting project that has all the trappings of being a game-changer in the country’s football landscape.
Tetteh was immediately driven by the CEO to the club’s training grounds to be introduced to the backroom staff and the playing body before an interaction with members of the local media.
He is a FIFA U20 World Cup winner in 2009 and has handled the national teams of Rwanda and Sierra Leone.
Tetteh qualified Liberty Professionals to the Ghana Premier League and was technical director of the Dansoman-based side until his latest appointment.
