High-flying Karela FC will be without in-form first choice goalkeeper Isaac Hagan for three months, head coach Johnson Smith has confirmed.
Hagan is suspected to have suffered a broken his palm when the Nzema Ayinase side beat Hearts of Oak 3-1 at home on Wednesday.
He had to be replaced in the second half after colliding with striker Joseph Esso.
“Goalkeeper, Isaac Hagan who is a captain had his palm wounded following the crash with Hearts of Oak attacker, Joseph Esso in Wednesday’s game. He has been to the hospital for treatment,” Smith told Takoradi-based Aseda FM.
”It will take about 3 months before he recovers from the injury.”
Karela FC are joint leaders with 14 points but have played one more than AshantiGold.
