Ghanaian striker David Opoku found the back of the net for Tripoli Atletic Club in the Lebanese Premier League on Saturday.
The 24-year-old took a perfect start at his new Club by getting a consolation in their 1-2 defeat at home to Al Akhaa Al Ahli.
Opoku who netted 12 times for Al Egtmaaey last season scored in the 37th minute after Betar Pazic and Ahmed Hegazy had scored for the visitors.
The attacker came close to getting the equaliser for the home team but would be denied by the excellent saves of Al Akhaa Al Ahli goalkeeper Ali Alhares.
The former Black Meteors forward will be hoping to maintain his scoring form in the Lebanese top-flight this season.
Fellow Ghanaian Kennedy Ashia was also in action for Tripoli Atletic Club.
