Sports Journalist and football pundit Dan Kwaku Yeboah has make an astounding revelation about Ghana Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Brimah amidst an intense uproar over his recent unsavory remarks.
The 29-year-old earlier on Monday [January 30] posted a video on himself on Facebook where he said “They (Ghanaians) talk too much, they should “f**k” go to hell. I am not hash but am “f**k” tired of this negative people, instead of supporting the team (Black Stars) to move forward and pray for the team, they sit out there and talk “sh*t.”
Dan Kwaku Yeboah who made an appearance on Football 360 on Kwese Free Sports last night revealed to host Nutifafa Attah that Razak Brimah’s outburst is actually consistent with a very appalling attitude the goalkeeper displayed in the recent past.
“A few weeks ago something unusual happened. He [Razak Braimah] invited some journalists that he was going to donate to his former coast team, after conducting an interview, post donation, he sat in his car and threw down money that a journalist should pick the money to go and do his rounds. And that journalist happened to be my producer,” he revealed.
“He is an up and coming goalkeeper and should be very careful. Somebody should tell Razak that we have seen goalkeepers in Ghana,” Dan Yeboah noted.
Although no official from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has commented on the development, it appears the player received counsel to withdraw his earlier comments and apologize.
It is expected that the Football Association will later today charge the player for his behaviour which has received widespread condemnation.
A survey conducted by sportsxtra.com.gh has also revealed that many Ghanaians are completely stunned by the attitude of the goalkeeper and have called for his dismissal from the Black Stars squad.
Ghana will face Cameroon on Thursday in the ongoing African Cup of Nations.
