Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris has passed his medicals with Trabzonspor and expected to sign a four-year deal, The AccraReport can confirm.
Waris was scheduled to join Lille but his club Spartak Moscow and the Ligue 1 side could not agree on a deal, prompting the Europa League campaigners to switch their attention to Malian striker Mustapha Yatabare of Guingamp.
The former Right to Dream and Hacken striker spent the second half of last season on loan at Ligue 1 relegated side Valenciennes where he netted nine goals in 16 games.
Trabzonspor are said to be paying 5.5 million Euros for the services of the Ghanaian budding goal poacher.
