The Red and Green lads mutually parted ways with their head coach Frimpong Manso on Monday.
According to kickgh.com sources, two former Asante Kotoko coaches Isaac Opeele Boateng and David Duncan have been shortlisted.
Black Queens head coach, Yusif Basigi, Johnson Smith and Mohammed Gargo have been target for the position.
Karela will begin their season campaign this weekend with Gold Stars at the Bibiani Duns Park.
