Two customized funeral cloths produced by Akosombo Textile Limited (ATL) for the funeral of late coach Sam Arday, who died on February 15, 2017 has been released.
The cloths bear Coach Arday’s photograph, Adinkra symbols and other accolades. The cloth has been made available on the market.
Sam Hemans-Arday, son of the late Coach Arday said: “The price of the cloth is GH?100.00 and is available at the family house at Lartebiokorshie and Orient Express at Makola (Angelina Stores)”
This was made known after the family’s visit to two past presidents of Ghana to announce the funeral arrangements.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police, David Asante Apeatu and the top brass of the Ghana Police Service had also paid a visit to the family house of the late Arday to sign the book of condolence.
The IGP said: “Coach Sam Arday was an outstanding and distinguished officer, who served the nation diligently in various capacities from 1967 to 2000, when he voluntarily retired from the police service.”
He said “His dedication to duty, hard work and discipline was evident in the many awards to his credit and also raising the image of the Ghana Police Service.”
