Former Ghana coach Claude Le Roy is optimistic Kwesi Appiah will do a great job for Ghana on his second return as coach of Ghana.
Appiah was re-appointed a month after Israeli Avram Grant left Ghana after failing to win the AFCON in his second appointment.
Le Roy, who was coach during the 2008 Nations Cup, believes Appiah is well equipped for the job now.
“For me, there is no problem about the colour of the coach because we have good foreign coaches and bad ones, same applies to the local ones.
“What is important is to pick a good coach who is dedicated to his team, to the country and wants to produce something great no matter the nationality.
“The more important thing is to be dedicated to the job and the man Kwesi Appiah is a man of high quality, very honest, very loyal” he told Nhyira FM.
He is expected to officially begin on May 1.
