The Central regional director for the National Sports Authority Osafo Agyei has stated that his outfit have not received any request from Hearts of Oak to use the Cape Coast Sports Stadium as their home venue for the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League.
The communications director of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo indicated last week that the Accra-giants they are waiting for approval from the Ghana FA to use the Cape Coast Sports Stadium as their home venue in the coming campaign.
But, Regional director rejected Opare Addo’s statement, claiming that they haven’t received any communique from Hearts or the Director General on this decision.
“I have not received any request letter from Accra Hearts of Oak indicating they want to use the Cape Coast Sports Stadium as their home matches for the 2017/18 Premier League.”
“May be they have written the letter to the head quarters but I have not been informed,” Osafo Agyei told Aseda FM.
“I have not seen any request letter from Accra Hearts of Oak concerning the use of Cape Coast Stadium at the head quarters of National Sports Authority.”
