Gyan and Badu are patrons of books and boots
Books & Boots Ghana is under consideration for partnership from FC Barcelona in the near future.
This follows a presentation made by Books & Boots to the head of FC Barcelona Escola project Franc Carbo.
The communities recreation and education project with emphasis on “after school” education and soccer, was pitched to the head of the Spanish football giants Academy.
In their presentation to Academy director, Books & Boots Ghana requested for technical support, logistics and other areas of partnership with the Catalan club.
A high level delegation of officials including well known board member Paul Villanova Villas were in the Ghanaian capital from the 26th to 28th of February 2017.
The working visit was to explore potential future sporting, education and business collaborations and was widely covered by domestic and international media.
The three day tour provided the perfect opportunity for several sports, business and soccer stakeholders including Books & Boots and arguably one of Africa’s most successful academies “Right to Dream”, to pitch their proposals and concepts to the Spanish delegation.
