Ghanaian youngster Latif Atta Blessing opened his USL scoring account in a 3- 1 win for Swope Park Rangers. The 21 year old Sporting Kansas forward dropped to the lower tier in the US after struggling for game time with his parent club but needed just one game to launch his first of the season.
The 2015/16 Ghana Premier league golden boot winner shot his side into the lead after conceding the first goal of the game. The then Dansoman based goal hub , dispatched a neat finish from inside the box after been put through by Daniel Sallaoi on the hour mark.
Mark Andrews opened the scoring for OKC Energy on the road to Swope just to 23 minutes into the game. The host however pulled parity with 4 minutes to recess through Park Maher before Latif shot the home side in front on the hour mark. Daniel Sallaoi then rounded off the scoring on the 70 minute mark to add emphasis to the score but the media traffic had already been hijacked by their Ghanaian import, Latif Atta Blessing , who stole the show all night long.
