Ghana national team will kick off preparations on Monday in Accra for the upcoming Fifa World Cup qualifying games against Comoros scheduled for November 13 and 17, an official has confirmed.
The Black Stars coach Avram Grant, who returned from a three-month players monitoring mission in Europe on Friday, has released his list of 23 players for the double header, which includes captain Asamoah Gyan and Andre Ayew, both of whom are returning from injuries.
Home-based stars Samuel Tetteh of WAFA and Wa All Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori also make the list.
“The Black Stars will start training on Monday evening. We don’t expect a full house by Monday evening. We expect a full house by Tuesday evening,” said Ibrahim Sannie Daara Ghana FA Director of Communications told Hello FM.
Comoros will host the first leg at the Stade Said Mohamed Cheikh in Mitsamiouli on November 13 while the return leg will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi four days later.
