Black Stars B captain Daniel Darkwah is eager to lead the team to the 2019 Championship of Africa Nations (CHAN) tournament in Kenya.
The Black Stars B team are currently preparing for their upcoming qualifier against Burkina-Faso.
Ghana must overcome their West African counterparts in order to progress to the next stage of the qualifiers.
Darkwah wants to make history by leading the team to their fourth CHAN tournament.
“We missed out in the two previous editions, so this time around we want to make it to the competition in Kenya,” he spoke to Ghanasportsonline.com.
“We have Burkina Faso first and we must win that game to advance to the next round.
“They are a strong side but nothing is impossible, we have been preparing very well and all the players are serious at training.”
The home-based Black Stars team last reached the finals of the Championship of Africa Nations losing to Libya in South Africa 2014.
