Black Stars assistant Coach Tanko Ibrahim is happy with the output of players at training.
Tanko together with head Coach Kwesi Appiah supervised the team’s training session for the first time.
The former Cameroon assistant Coach took the Black Stars players through their normal drills and warm-up sessions.
The ex-Ghana international was impressed with the attitude of the players who turned up for the team’s first day at training ahead of the clash against Ethiopia.
“Yes everything went well, the attitude at training was good and it was successful as you can see,” he said.
“We are just hoping to get all the guys, we hope the rest of the players will join tomorrow for us to continue. But in all I will say it was good, the new players are performing well at training so as the old ones and that is a positive sign.”
14 players were involved in the team’s first day at training.
Coach Kwesi Appiah is expected to get a full house by the end of the week.
