24 members of the national amateur boxing team, Black Bombers are continuing their non-residential camping and preparations for the 2017 Africa Boxing championship with daily training at the Accra Sports Stadium.
20 men and 4 women boxers have been training for about three weeks now ahead of the competition which is scheduled for Brazaville, Congo come May 27 June 4.
The Black Bombers train at the stadium between 6-9 am every day and train at their respective gyms in the evening.
The Ghana Boxing Federation led by acting President, George Lamptey are working to raise funds in order to start residential camping for the boxers as the competition draws ever closer.
Ghana is expected to select boxers to compete in 11 weight categories at the continental fight fiesta which serves as qualifiers to the AIBA world championship in Hamburg, Germany in August and September this year.
