National Chapters Committee Chairman of Hearts of Oak Barima Atuahene has assured the playing body of the club their unflinching support in Cape Coast when the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League starts.
The Phobians have opted to use the Cape Coast Sports Stadium as their home venue for coming Ghana league campaign as Accra Sports Stadium, which has been their home ground for many years is undergoing renovation works.
And the club’s supporters chief Barima Attuahene, has implored the playing body that they will rally behind them to ensure they achieve their goals in the season.
“I want to assure the playing body and the technical team that we will come and support you in Cape Coast,” he said.
“We will provide buses and come out with plans to get the stadium filled to capacity at all times. We know we will not get the numbers immediately but we want you to know that even if the stadium is not full, do not be down.
“We will work hard to make sure we get all our supporters within the Central Region to the stadium. Plans are far advanced for buses to be placed in strategic areas so as to make it easy for fans to commute to and from Cape Coast to watch you play.”
