Boxing legend Azumah Nelson holds the third edition of his “Azumah Nelson Fight Night” series on Saturday, April 1 at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
Organisers say the bouts are aimed at providing a prestigious platform for boxers to showcase their talents in a bid to give them global exposure.
The headline match-up of the Azumah Nelson Fight Night features National Super Featherweight champion, Joshua Wahab Oluwaseum (12wins-0losses-0draws) who will make the fourth defence of his belt against former champion, Abraham Osei Bonsu (10wins-1loss-1 draw).
Karamudeen Boyefio (8wins-6losses-0draws) will be hopeful of capitalising on the golden opportunity to claim the National Super Bantamweight strap when he faces fellow contender Isaac Sackey (17wins-0losses-1draw) while Emmanuel Martey (10wins-0losses-0draws) and Stephen Abbey (13wins-13losses-0draws) will tangle for the National Super Middleweight title and Michael Pappoe (17wins-4losses-0draws) will face Isaac Dowuona (6wins-1loss-0draws) for the Super Featherweight title.
In the international contests, Uganda’s Selemani Saidi will battle Obodai Sai while baby-faced Lebanese brawler, Elias Farah will engage Musa Rahman Lawson in a spicy international middleweight encounter.
The Azumah Nelson Fight Night is sponsored by GOIL, Sahara Mining Services, National Investment Bank and Geodrill.
