Head coach of the Black Stars Avram Grant has described Group D of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations as a very difficult one.
Ghana is paired with seven times African Champions Egypt, stubborn Mali and Uganda.
Grant is expected to lead the Black Stars to Afcon 2017 glory per his contract but the Israeli who suffered to beat the Cranes of Uganda in the 2018 world Cup qualifier in Tamale following a 0-0 draw, believes Uganda will be a stubborn opponent while the Pharaohs whom he will travel to play in November 2016 in the world Cup qualifier, will also pose a lot of danger to his team’s chances.
Speaking on Sky Sports after the draw, Grant revealed his team would face a tough challenge of progressing from the group coupled with off the field incidents prior to the tournament proper.
Below is a video of Grant speaking on the chances of Ghana ahead of the Afcon on Sky Sports TV.
