Great Olympics head coach Godwin Attram has expressed his unhappiness at the conduct of the fans towards him as the Ghana Premier League has gone on.
Olympics are yet to win a league game this season despite some good performances and that has really upset the fans of the club.
They have gone on to criticise Attram’s team selections and tactics and others have called for his head.
Attram, who played for the club at a point in his career, is unhappy at the turn of events and is urging the fans to show more support if things will get better.
“Fans have the right to call for better results because the club is theirs. I do not have any problem with them but what I will tell them is that if they are treating a son of the club who brought the club back to the league this way, then I do not know if they can back any other coach.”
The need to get results even forced Attram to feature in the team’s 0-0 home draw with WAFA in Round 5 of the league.
However, despite speculation over his future at the club, Attram remains defiant and is confident of better times.
“I am a son of the club and I believe I will succeed.” Olympics play Hearts of Oak in an Accra derby in the next round of the Ghana Premier League.
