Ghana Premier League side AshGold SC have completed the signing of young promising striker Maurice Quarshie from lower division side Rangers Academy, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
Quarshie signed a three-year deal with The Miners in his first professional contract as a footballer.
Quarshie, 18, is expected to build his promising career from the opportunity given at the Obuasi-based side in the upcoming Ghana Premier League.
The young attacker needed just a few hours training to impress the new technical director of the club John Christensen who advised the club signs the player immediately.
Quarshie completed signing for the club and has been registered by the club who raced to beat the registration deadline which ended on Thursday March 1st.
Quarshie is known to be a fast, intelligent and strong striker who could take the Ghana Premier League by storm.
