Ex-Ghana youth international, Bright Addae, has been vindicated by Wa All Stars winning the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League.
The former Wa All Stars midfielder had tipped the club for domestic supremacy at the start of the campaign and has since been vindicated by the title-winning campaign the Northern Blues have staged.
The Italy-based hard tackler praised the quality of the All Stars team and their mental attitude at the start of the season.
Addae, one of the pioneers of Wa All Stars in the top flight, cited the nomadic nature of the club and their policy to recruit unrefined talents from the lower tiers as the reason why he believed the club was going to top the division.
“If there was a club that deserves to be champions, it has to be Wa All Stars FC.
“They came to the league with raw and untested players but has since been consistent for almost ten years now.
“When you factor in how they travel on a weekly basis and the youthful nature of their side, I think they deserve to be champions at the end of the just-ended season,” Addae told Sports Crusader.
The Ascoli midfield gem enjoyed a spectacular season last year but has since been sparingly used by the current head coach.
