Asante Kotoko goalie Felix Annan wants to end 2017/18 league season with most clean sheets
Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has set his sights on finishing the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League with the most clean sheets.
Annan emerged as the best goalkeeper in the top flight league last term after ending the campaign with 15 clean sheets in 24 appearances to help the Porcupine Warriors to a 5th place finish.
With the 2017/18 league set to kick off on Saturday, the 23-year-old agile custodian is hoping to replicate the exploits again and urged the supporters of the club to get behind them to make their ambition successful.
“I have set a big target for myself because I had a fantastic season last year and this season is not going to be easy because there’s going to be a lot of expectation” Annan told Radio XYZ
“But my own target I have set for myself Personally is to keep my consistency and try to keep more clean sheets than I did last season and I am going to work extra hard to fulfill that target.”
Kotoko will commence their league season with a trip to the Cape Coast Sports Stadium to play WAFA.
