Asante Kotoko coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has admitted his side were stretched by Inter Allies during Sunday’s 1-0 win at home in the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors needed an Obed Owusu goal to bag the points.
Allies came in a well-drilled side and had their star man Victorien Adebayor put in an impressive shift.
But the home side prevailed and recorded their first win of the season after two rounds.
”It was a very tough game. Inter Allies gave us a good match but we were more determined to win the game. Therefore, we won the game so I’m satisfied with the results. We came here to do a job and the job is to do well for Kotoko,” Fabin told the media in a post-match interview.
”So far, it’s been good, though it was a very tough assignment this afternoon but getting the three points [was] all that we wanted and we had it so I’m really happy with that.”
