Asante Kotoko skipper Amos Frimpong has expressed their readiness to record a victory over CARA Brazzaville in the first leg of the preliminary stages of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors will commence their Africa campaign on Sunday against Congolese outfit CARA Brazzaville at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
“So far so good, everything is in place and we are ready for the game on Sunday against CARA,” Amos Frimpong told reporters.
“Since we started camping, everything has been in place and I can tell you we are ready for Sunday.”
He added, “We have been speaking about the game since we started camping. The experienced players have shared the experiences of the competition with those that have not been there before,” he said.
“And I believe with the experiences we shared with new ones, we are hoping to go beyond the first round this time around.”
CARA are expected to touched down in Accra on Thursday before moving to Kumasi on Friday for the game on Sunday.
