Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has noted his readiness for next month’s Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
The 31-year old has fully recovered from a knee injury which kept him out close to 21 days.
Since his return, he has featured in two games for his club side Al Ahli in the UAE League.
Gyan who will be hoping to lead Ghana to end a 34-year long wait for the Africa Cup of Nations trophy says he feels ready for the competition.
“I am ready for the tournament, physically and mentally,” he said.
We all know what is at stake, the last time we came so close and this time we really want to end it.
“I have the hope and believe we will win next year’s title, we just have to go out there and work hard.”
