Former Ghana international defender, Tony Baffoe has offered his backing to Godwin Attram as his struggles at the club continues.
Attram, who led the club to the top-flight league has been under heavy pressure from supporters following their poor start to the league.
But, he has been offered a shoulder to lean on by former Ghana’s great Tony Baffoe, who has urged the club to stick with under-fire coach.
“Godwin Attram obviously is doing well for the club, he qualified them from division one to the premier league, he was a player-coach and scored a lot of decisive goals, and was instrumental for the young players in the team,” Baffoe told Asempa FM.
“Now he is the head coach in the premier league and results are not forthcoming but I believe his struggles is just due to some details he needs to correct and I think when he gets that right everything will fall in the right place.”
“Sometimes when a team is going through such period, it’s the coach that worries more than anybody else. So, I believe Olympics should give him some time to keep on with the work he is doing. He has to work with people with people who he is comfortable with because generally it’s very important in football and any other business.”
The club are currently occupying 13th position on the log with 7 points after match day 8.
