Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan is still eyeing a call-up to the Black Stars team.
Annan has been on the low after a fruitless spell with German Bundesliga side Schalke O4.
The midfielder has failed to earn a National team call-up since he last participated for the country at the 2013 Cup of Nations in South Africa.
The 29-year-old who signed a three-year deal with Finnish giants HJK Helsinki is anticipating a return to the Black Stars team.
‘’No, I am still playing actively so I am not done with the Black Stars yet,’’ he told Fox FM.
‘’I know I will get a call up into the team again since I’m still playing.
‘’The likes of Stephen Appiah and John Mensah started before I earned a call up into Black Stars.’’
The player featured for the Black Stars at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
He was also represented the country at the 2008,2010, 2012 and 2013 Cup of Nations.
