Ghana international Andre Ayew will appear before the French Ligue 1 Discipline Committee when he returns to France after the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Disciplinary Committee met on Thursday evening and viewed the Marseille-Nice game in which they found out that Ayew intentionally kicked Dario Cvitanich on the blind side of the referee.
The Nice player himself has also been summoned for kicking Marseille’s Togolese midfielder Alaixys Romao in the same game.
This is the second time in two years that the Ghanaian talisman will be appearing before the Disciplinary Committee as last year he was summoned by the FA for a two-footed lounge on St. Etiene’s Yohan Mello.
Both players will be heard on September 25.
