Ghana and West Ham forward Andre Ayew has declared himself fully fit and ready to storm the English Premier League starting with his side’s London derby clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
The forward started his first Premier League game since the opening weekend in a 1-1 draw with Stoke City, having recently returned from nearly three months out with a groin injury.
The 26-year-old captained Ghana in their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Egypt and has returned to Rush Green in top shape ahead of the Hammers’ top-flight trip to Tottenham Hotspur on 19 November.
Speaking ahead of the game, Ayew revealed how important the game was to him and how ready he is to make an impact on the team.
“It’s a big game. It’s a London derby and everybody is going to be ready. It is going to be an important game for us.”
Ayew during the international break failed to lead Ghana to glory against the Pharaohs of Egypt but is determined to make it count on Saturday in the Premier league.
