The Ghanaian striker finished the campaign with a flourish as he set up teammate Feghouli to equalize before scoring the winner against Burnley
It was not the perfect season for Andre Ayew but he has made some great impact since moving to West Ham United from Swansea City during the last summer window.
The 27-year-old scored his sixth Premier League goal of the season in Sunday’s 2-1 away win at Burnley as the Hammers wrapped up their campaign on a positive note.
After starting the season curtailed by injury, Dede grew into the side and went on to make 25 appearances, 16 of them being starts under manager Slaven Bilic.
He scored his sixth goal of the season to hand West Ham victory at Burnley on Sunday, after the hosts took the lead through Samuel Vokes, who calmly side-footed the ball into the net following a beautiful pass into the box from Andre Gray.
Ayew was involved in equalizer as he set up the ball, through a simple flick to Feghouli and the Algerian made the opportunity count in the 27th minute.
It was the Ghanaian’s third assist of the campaign.
Dede then finished the game with his goal, nodding home a rebound after goalkeeper Tom Heaton had palmed away Edmilson Fernandes’ shot onto the crossbar.
It is far from being the best of the Ghanaian’s three seasons in England so far, but he can relish the fact that next season would be without an Africa Cup of Nations tournament that made him miss more than four weeks of West Ham’s season.
