Asante Kotoko skipper Amos Frimpong is optimistic of winning this season’s Ghana Premier League with seven matches to end the season.
Kotoko after going winless in their last 5 games bounced back to winning ways on Sunday as they defeated Dreams FC 1-0 at the Baba Yara stadium.
Frimpong who converted a controversial late spot kick to hand his side all three points is hopeful of clinching the title despite their current position.
“We can still win the league, the fans should not lose hope, we will fight till the end, we are taking it match after match, is not going to be easy though,” Frimpong told the Media after the game
“We knew the game would be difficult, Dreams FC has a lot of quality, We were ready for a difficult game, but we were able to pick all the three points,”
Kotoko are currently 4th on the league log with 36 points.
