United Soccer League side Harrisburg City Islanders has mourned the death of Richmond Kickers Ghanaian Coach Kofi Nti.
Nti, 40, died on Sunday in church in the United States after reportedly suffering from heart attack.
The brother of ex-Ghana international Yaw Preko until his demise worked as the head Coach for USL side Richmond Kickers having arrived at the Club as a player.
His sudden death took the Ghanaian football public by surprise after just taking the rise as an up and coming football Coach.
City Islanders who plays together with Richmond Kickers (Team of the deceased) in the USL have paid tribute to the Coach.
“We send our condolences to the friends, family, & @RichmondKickers after the passing of Kofi Nti. It’s a loss for us all. #WeAreUnited,” the Club tweeted
The former University of Ghana captain could not play to the highest level before entering into Coaching.
