Algerian side ES Sétif took to their official Facebook page to allege they were attacked and robbed by the referee during their CAF Champions League first round first leg encounter with Aduana Stars.
Setif lost 1-0 to the Ghanaian champions at the Nana Agyemang Badu stadium in Dormaa Ahenkro on Wednesday.
The Algerians have questioned the penalty awarded the Fire Boys which led to the only goal of the game.
The Black Eagles have threatened to hand out similar treatment to Aduana Stars in the return leg which is slated for 18 March, 2018 in Algiers.
Here is a translation of the Arabic post on the official ES Sétif Facebook page: “ES Sétif players were attacked and robbed in Ghana.
”These circumstances plus the strange penalty will not force us to protest or complain because we are used such behaviours in Algeria or inside the continent.
”The second leg game, we will treat them (Aduana Stars) as they did to us.”
