Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu saw 90 minutes of action in Serie A on Sunday as Udinese got an emphatic 3-1 victory at Atalanta.
However, compatriots Kwadwo Asamoah and Godfred Donsah were left on the bench in the games involving Juventus and Bologna respectively.
Agyemang-Badu made his 13th appearance in the league this season and put in a good performance as Udinese notched their sixth win of the campaign to move into 12th spot.
Daniel Zapata, Seko Fofana and Cyril Thereau all scored for the visitors while Jasmin Kurti? got Atalanta’s lone goal.
After playing 90 minutes in Wednesday’s Champions League win against Sevilla, Asamoah was left out by coach Massimiliano Allegri whose team won 3-1 at Torino courtesy of a Gonzalo Higuaín brace and an injury time strike from Miralem Pjanic.
Ghanaian midfielder Afriyie Acquah was an 81st minute substitute for Torino but he could not change their fate.
Donsah was left on the bench as Bologna played a goalless draw with Empoli.
With Ghana set to play at the Africa Cup of Nations next month, these players would all be keen to get game time in order to make the job of coach Avram Grant easier.
Ghana has not won the Afcon since 1982 and would hope to end their 34-year wait for a senior title next year after falling to Cote d’Ivoire via penalties in last year’s final.
